Water Wheel Falls, Arizona

Less than 2 hours from Phoenix and just 20 minutes north of Payson, Water Wheel Falls is a great day trip and offers a refreshing swimming hole. There is no official trail – from Water Wheel Campgrounds, just follow the river upstream for about a mile. Mild rock climbing/cross country scrambling.
